This class is ran by one of Scotland's most reputable clubs, Forth Valley Weightlifting Club.
The class is perfect for those who have never touched a bar before but wants to learn the correct techniques of olympic lifts, to those experienced lifters who are looking to push themselves and achieve new bests. A must attend class in the opinion of every coach out there, the benefits you gain from learning the olympic lifts in this class will convey over to other classes and aspects of training.
Mixed Martial Arts
Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) is a full contact combat sport. Our MMA sessions mix Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, Wrestling and Boxing into an exciting combination of ground work, grappling and striking techniques and are demanding, hard work and involved in a lot of close up fighting techniques. Coaches Barry Thompson and Kenny Holmes have years and years of experience, from competing at some of the highest levels to coaching scottish and british champions. All sessions are tailored for beginners and advanced martial artists.
